Choose "happy"

Today, this quote from Pushing Daisies really got to me:

"I think it's brave to be happy. You've gotten so comfortable being unhappy. Wouldn't it be wonderful to wake up in the morning and choose to be happy?"

The thought that I might someday see remarkably, hauntingly beautiful persimmons (of all things) never occurred to me:

Feast your senses on that.
